1000 Journals Project
I just came across this website, where Someguy started the project of introducing 1000 journals to the world, the travelling journals. The lucky ones get to fill the pages with drawing, photographs, stories and then pass it to a friend or stranger.
There’s also a documentary made about it, playing at San Francisco. I am really interested to go see it.
Not to mention, there’s a book as well.
This idea has giving me the inspiration to start a visual journal. Nietzsche once said, “Our writing equipment takes part in the forming of our thoughts”. And with pen and paper, something more creative seems to come out from it. The freedom of the hand seems to free the mind as well.
